- On Dec. 17, 2024, National Immigration Administration of China announced to extend the Visa-Free Transit Policies for Foreign Nationals to 240 hours instead of previous 72-hours or 144-hour through 60 entry-exit ports in 24 provinces/cities, and the foreign nationals can travel within the 24 provinces/cities during the 240-hour time frame. The two airports at Shanghai
- Shanghai Pudong airport (IATA code: PVG) is one of the most popular airport in China, and most international direct flight will stop at PVG airport. Taxi from this airport to hotel (Holiday Inn at Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao) will be around 27 min and fare normally around 90 ~ 150 RMB.
- Shanghai Hongqiao airport (IATA code: SHA ) mainly serves domestic and regional flights, also has limited number of international flights. Terminal 2 of Hongqiao airport is immediately adjacent to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, a major train hub of this town.
